From The Episode

In This Episode

There is a particular kind of tiredness that sleep does not cure.
It comes from moving too quickly through a life that was never meant to be hurried.
We wake, we answer, we travel, we work, we return. And somewhere between one obligation and the next, the smallest parts of the day begin disappearing.
The morning light across a wall.
The sound of water filling a glass.
A book left open beside the bed.
These things ask very little of us. They do not demand our attention. They simply wait for us to notice them.
Perhaps a slower life does not mean doing less.
Perhaps it means being present for more of what we already do.
Tonight, or this morning, wherever you are, allow yourself a little less urgency.
There is nowhere else you need to be for these eight minutes.
Just here.
Just now.
