Founder's Letter
Noireluxia was founded as a refusal. A refusal of the disposable paperback, the read-in-a-weekend bestseller, the algorithm that would tell you what to feel next. We wanted a house that treated books as the great couturiers treat silk — slowly, seriously, with reverence for the hand that made them.
What began as seventy-three letters, mailed from a small library at the edge of a city, has become a House of readers in forty-one countries. We publish quietly. We curate fiercely. And we hold, above every other belief, that a book is a piece of furniture for the inner life.
